CRD Color Rendition Demonstrator

Often the printer utilizes the correct viewing standard at press side to view the color of a job as it is being printed. If this same job is viewed under commercial fluorescent lighting or incandescent lighting, the same print will take on a completely different appearance. In order to demonstrate this effect, we market the portable three-compartment CRD viewer that simultaneously demonstrates the color rendition of three varied light sources on "identical" prints or color samples.

GLX Transparency Viewers

These sleek, smartly styled viewers are precisely balanced to provide strict compliance with the photographic and graphic arts viewing standards. GLX viewers offer unexcelled viewer-to-viewer consistency. Each viewer is individually tested and boasts the GTI official Control Lab Certification Seal that guarantees strict adherence to ISO standards. GLX Viewers are available in five standard model sizes as well as larger custom sizes. The GLX viewers include a non-glare Plexiglas viewing surface, a high efficiency reflector system producing uniform luminance, an adjustable stand and the optional LiteGuard II Viewing System Monitor. The LiteGuard II feature indicates lamp warm-up, lamp hours used, and remaining lamp life.

PVS-TR Portable Color Viewing System

The new Executive Show-Off portable color viewing system provides ISO standard viewing conditions for visual inspection and/or comparisons of transparencies, prints, proofs, and press sheets. Now you can be sure that the color that your client or vendor sees is the same regardless of location. The PVS/TR is lightweight, very attractive, and easy to set-up and close. Also available as a reflection only unit or a multiple light source unit. It has a transparency viewing area of 20x25cm/8x10" and a reflection viewing area of 48x37cm/18.75x14.5".

Soft-View Desktop Viewer with Adjustable Light Intensity


This unit is equipped with digital light intensity control that allows the user to precisely establish baseline brightness levels, for both reflection and transparency, which provide an optimal visual match to the color monitor. With a range of 0 to 100, the Soft-View lets you “dial in” your precise intensity level and, if artwork tonal characteristics require changes in light output, you can easily return to your baseline. Placed next to the monitor, the Soft-View provides intensity adjustable transparency and reflection viewing, eliminating the extreme brightness difference between D5000 viewers and color video displays. Available in two model sizes, SOFV-2e and

SOFV-1e.

TRV Combination Viewers

The newly redesigned TRV provides improved light evenness and versatility with removable sidewalls for effective color evaluation of transparencies and proofs. These combination viewers permit either transmission only or reflection only viewing; the addition of a mask allows side by side comparison of prints/proofs to transparencies. Units can be ordered with the optional viewing system monitor. This viewing system is available in two model sizes, TRV-1e and TRV-2e.

CVX-1 Color Viewing Station

The CVX-1 Color Viewing Station provides viewing accuracy and consistency from station to station. These units are a true system that includes state-of-the-art electronic ballasts, aluminized high-efficiency reflectors, spectrally and neutral non-yellowing diffusers, and Graphiclite T8 fluorescent lamps. This system produces superior light evenness, excellent rear wall illumination, and enhanced energy efficiency. The CVX family of D50 color viewing stations includes the LiteGuard II feature which displays lamp warm-up, lamp hours used, and remaining lamp life. The CVX comes complete with sidewalls for greater viewing accuracy. The attractive design of the CVX makes it a versatile viewer, compatible with either an office/conference room setting or a production/

pressroom work area. This unit also includes horizontal and vertical viewing positions, sidewalls for strict compliance to industry standards, and a built-in print bar. Models available from 74x132cm/29x52” to 122x330cm/48x130” for all your viewing applications.

EVS-1 and EVS-2 Executive Viewing Stations

The EVS1 and EVS-2 line of viewing stations boasts D5000 accuracy and consistency combined with sleek styling. These viewers are perfect for the conference room, lobby or executive office. The EVS-1 has a viewing area of 74x132cm/ 29x52” while the EVS-2 has a viewing area of 74x269cm/29x106”. While sidewalls are optional on all EVS models, they are recommended for optimum viewing conditions. All units include LiteGuard II, which displays lamp warm-up, lamp hours, and remaining lamp life.

EVS-2540 Executive Viewing Station

The EVS-2540 color viewing station successfully combines sleek styling and D5000 viewing conditions. The EVS-2540 is the perfect color viewing facility for pressroom applications as well as for use in the conference room, lobby or executive office. The EVS-2540 offers a viewing area of 64x102cm/25x40”. The system includes horizontal and vertical viewing positions and a built-in print bar to securely hold film, printed sheets or other substrates. Optional sidewalls are available for strict compliance to Industry Standards. It includes LiteGuard II, which displays lamp warm-up, lamp hours, and remaining lamp life.

EVS-2028 Executive Viewing Station

The EVS-2028 is the smallest version of the EVS models available, with a viewing area of 51x71cm/20x28". The EVS-2028 provides all of the outstanding features of a full-sized EVS, yet fits on a desktop, countertop or alongside a small press for critical color viewing applications. The EVS-2028 is the ideal solution for color evaluation of smaller formats. It includes LiteGuard II, which displays lamp warm-up, lamp hours, and remaining lamp life.

MM-1e and MM-2e MiniMatchers

The MiniMatcher is a compact multi-source viewing system for the inspection and color discrimination of inks, paints, plastics, textiles, paper, colorants, and other colored materials. It is ideal for use with cosmetics, coatings, printing and packaging, advertising and graphic design, and interior and fashion design applications. These units include daylight (D50 or 65), cool white fluorescent store light (CWF), and home light (incandescent A) light sources; they can be ordered with an optional UV source.

MM-4e MiniMatcher

The MM-4e provides five spectrally dissimilar sources of illumination for accurate visual color assessment and color comparison, duplication of your client's lighting environment, and easy detection of metamerism. The MM-4e includes a new digital control which confirms your selected light source via an illuminated push-button, allows you to activate multiple sources simultaneously, and is easily programmable to provide one-touch automatic light source sequencing. The five standard light sources are: artificial daylight (D65 or D50), store light (CWF or TL84), home light (incandescent A or horizon), your choice of D50, 30U, TL84, or TL83), and ultraviolet (UVA BLB). The unit includes a built-in daylight lamp timer. These systems are ideal for the inspection and color matching of paints, plastics, textiles, paper, colorants, cosmetics, and packaging materials.

PVS/M Portable Color Viewing System

The new Executive Show-Off portable color matching system, model PVS/M, is perfect to use in client color presenta­tions or production meetings, for lab applications, and for any color-viewing situation. The PVS/M is equipped with four spectrally dissimilar sources of illumination. It is an essential tool for visual color assessment, comparison of color variations, and the detection of metamerism. Now you can use this ASTM D1729 compliant viewing system to make sure that the color your client or vendor sees is the same, regardless of location.

VPI D5000 Viewing System for Large Format Artwork Inspection

The VPI viewing system is designed to provide consistent and accurate ISO standard viewing conditions in the central viewing region of the rear wall. The standard VPI is available in 4- and 5-foot widths, with larger units available upon request. It comes complete with the LiteGuard II viewing system monitor which displays lamp warm-up, lamp hours, and remaining lamp life. Options include: variable intensity for soft proof comparisons, secondary light source to simulate an alternative viewing environment, and a height-adjustable lower ledge to support three-dimensional artwork.

RVS and RVA Recessed Viewers

The RVS recessed viewers use the same critical components as the top quality GLX series transparency viewers fro Graphic Technology Inc. The anodized aluminum frame can be easily adapted to most counter tops. These recessed units can be ordered in four standard sizes (25x36cm/10x14”, 25x58cm/10x23”, 41x58cm/

16x23”, 41x119cm/16x48”) or in custom dimensions. A clear glass can be installed over the Plexiglas. The RVA Recessed Viewers requires moderate carpentry work.

GCX and GTX Transparency Editing Viewers

Models GCX and GTX are height-adjustable D5000 transparency editing facilities which provide large-format transparency viewing and editing capabilities. The viewing area of the GCX-1 is horizontal: 43x122cm/17x48” y vertical: 41x112cm/16x44”; the viewing area of the GTX-1 is: 43x122cm/17x48”.

Model 2 and Model 4 Viewers

This versatile, modestly priced series of D5000 viewers was designed for accurate, routine color evaluation, slide sorting and multi-image programming. The basis for this "no frills" line of products are the Model 4 and Model 2 viewers, perfect for photo labs, slide production houses, and educational environments. Viewing area of the Model 4 is 48x122cm/19x48” and of the Model 2 is 48x61cm/19x24”.

Slide Sorters

This unique line of transparent acrylic programming boards feature patented, flexible slide grippers which allow ease of editing while holding the slides firmly in place, preventing slipping and spilling. Offered in a variety of sizes, these programming boards are designed to be used with the Model 4 and Model 2 Systems as well as the GLX series of transparency viewers. Model SS-3 is 56cm/22” high x 61cm/24” wide and model SS-3BC is 40cm/16” high x 29cm/11” wide.

Print Bar

Easily hold transparencies and originals in position. The print bar is available in various lengths or we can supply custom lengths on request. Standard lengths are 61cm/24”, 91cm/36” and 132cm/52”. They will adhere to most walls. Ideal for use in photo studios, minilabs, galleries, stores, studios, and reception areas.
