FormulationMaster I, II, III
FormulationMaster I software delivers color
formulation and quality assurance capabilities in
one package. It formulates opaque, translucent, and
transparent colors at fixed loads or with minimized
pigment usage, and saves time and resources by combining
waste or base colorants with shelf stock. Some of
its powerful features include: One-Click Queued Formulation
(multiple standards can be queued and formulated automatically);
Mass Edit (edit standards tolerances, delete samples
by date and time tags, and add or remove tag; automatic
archiving saves all previous data); Quick Correct
(create starting formulas with dry pigment and make
corrections with dispersions/tint bases); Strength
or Density Adjustment (view color difference “as
is” or “as would be” if equalized
to the standard in strength or density). FormulationMaster
II includes all of the features of FormulationMaster
I as well as Dot Area/Contrast Ratio Calculation (measures
solid, substrate, then dot sample, and calculates,
saves, and displays dot density on a trend graph and
indices); Color-Coded Tag Plot (samples can be color
coded by operator, shift, company, etc.; view multiple
samples and identify process differences by the criteria
you choose); Projects (automates color measurement
and saves time by setting up small color groups for
comparison). FormulationMaster III includes all of
the above mentioned features plus: Automated Colorant
Calibration (create an accurate database by entering
new colorant data through a simple, efficient batch
process); ColorDesigner System Emulation (select product
lines, gloss level or base for retail formulation
and generate custom formula reports; create bases
with preset can sizes and overfill).

ColorMaster
I
X-RiteColor Master I software is an innovative
performer, indispensable to a color management operation.
It includes features such as mass editing, mouse-over
L*a*b* scatter plot and one-button strength and density
adjustment. ColorMaster I is networkable, allowing
multiple users to access a single set of calibration
data and standards. The X-RiteColor Master Web Edition
allows for the standardization of projects across
an entire operation from one database. This program
is fully compatible with X-Rite’s powerful line
of 0/45, sphere, multi-angle and 8000 series bench-top
spectrophotometers. These products provide complete
color quality control solutions that deliver fast
and accurate color management.

ColorMaster
II
ColorMaster II software includes all of the
features of ColorMaster I and more, including:
Projects (this feature automates color measurement
by simplifying the process to a few colors instead
of thousands by grouping colors that might be tested
in a production run and then make comparisons); Color-Coded
Tag Plot (samples can be color coded by operator,
shift, company, etc.; view multiple samples and identify
process differences by the criteria you choose); Dot
Area/Contrast Ratio Calculation: (measures solid,
substrate, then dot sample, and calculates, saves,
and displays dot density on a trend graph and indices).

ColorMail
X-Rite ColorMail is an add-in application that enables
easy, instantaneous color data transfer via e-mail.
It works by translating color measure- ment data from
X-Rite spectrophotometers into standard computer files
that can be e-mailed or saved. With ColorMail, simply
drag and drop data from X-RiteColor Master to your
Windows desktop. The resulting data file can be attached
to an e-mail message and distributed as part of your
electronic workflow.

ColorMail
Express
ColorMail Express is designed to transfer
color files from your PC-based X-Rite quality assurance
or formulation software to a portable spectroden-sitometer
(X-Rite model 528 or 530) . The 530 spectrodensitometer
supports two-way data sharing, allowing you to upload
files back to a PC with a simple drag-and-drop operation.
This software program allows the use of the 528
and 530 instruments' new color compare feature to
its full advantage. ColorMail Express can be used
to download a digital color library into the instrument,
then automatically compare a measured color to a
color in the digital database. This allows you to
evaluate ink colors more quickly, more accurately
and in more places wherever your portable device
takes you.
